Good to know: Free events do not require TIN or compliance documents. You can launch immediately after organizer registration.
Prerequisites
- Signed in to Kelal Gateway
- Registered as an event organizer — open the menu → Organizer Dashboard; if you are new, complete Organizer Registration when the app sends you there
- Organizer account status is Active (not paused or deleted)
Start the wizard
- Open Organizer Dashboard → Create New Event
- Choose whether a professional organization hosts the event (see overview)
- Complete Organization Registration if you chose YES
On Event Registration — free settings
1 Set attendance mode
- In person only — standard free entry or RSVP
- In person + Kelal Live — you can offer a free livestream alongside venue access
- Online only — Kelal Live stream; set livestream pricing to Free
2 Choose how guests register
Under registration style, pick one:
-
Tickets (free or paid) — for free events, keep pricing on Free.
Guests tap Get Ticket and receive a digital QR ticket.
-
RSVP (free) — guests confirm attendance without a ticket.
Best for private gatherings and headcount planning.
3 Event pricing = Free
Select Free under Event Pricing. All ticket price fields stay empty (required by the system for free events).
If you use free tickets (not RSVP), you can still set ticket quantity limits for General Admission.
4 Public or private event
- Public — anyone can find and register
- Private — not in search; you share a private URL after launch
- Private + paid → Party Dashboard
- Private + free RSVP → RSVP Dashboard
- Private + free tickets → appropriate private dashboard based on join mode
A confirmation popup explains private event rules when you select Private.
